You can modify, repair, or remove an installation. For example, if you have the basic SolidWorks software and have purchased SolidWorks Office Professional or SolidWorks Office Premium, modify the installation, enter the new serial number to modify the installation.
PDMWorks Workgroup is not
installed if you are modifying your original SolidWorks or SolidWorks
Office package to include SolidWorks Office Professional or SolidWorks
Office Premium.
To modify, repair, or delete the installation:
Make sure no SolidWorks sessions are active.
In Windows, open the Control Panel and double-click Add or Remove Programs.
In the dialog box, select SolidWorks <version>.
Click Change or Remove. If you are modifying an installation, go to the next step; otherwise, confirm to delete the installation.
In the SolidWorks <version> Setup dialog box, click Next.
In the Program Maintenance dialog box, select one of the following:
Modify. Add or remove SolidWorks features; for example, add-ins.
If you installed SolidWorks
and purchased an add-in at a later time, you can modify the installation
to include the new add-in. You must install the add-in on each individual
machine.
Repair. Reinstall SolidWorks using the current installation parameters; for example, if the SolidWorks installation is corrupt.
