Command Line Global Properties

Each property is defined for administrative or individual installations, unless otherwise noted. Serial numbers can be passed to both an administrative installation and an individual installation using global properties.

ENABLEPERFORMANCE

Whether the application should automatically send performance data to SolidWorks Corporation.

1 to send performance data, 0 otherwise.
 

INSTALLDIR

Installation folder for SolidWorks.

Individual installations only.
 

INSTALLWDS

Install Windows Desktop Search Engine.

1 = Yes, 0 = No
 

SERVERLIST

SolidNetWork server list.

Note: <list_of_port@server_strings> is a list of strings delimited by semi-colons, each of which refers to a port number on a server with the format: xxxxx@<server_name1>; yyyyy@<server_name2>;& where x and y are single digits. After the last server in the list, do not put a semi-colon.

Individual installations only.
 

SOLIDWORKSSERIALNUMBER

Serial number for SolidWorks product, which includes all add-ins.
 

SWMIGRATE

SolidWorks version to upgrade as it would be shown in the list in the SolidWorks 2008 Install Choice dialog box.

Format: SWMIGRATE="SolidWorks 2008 SP1.0"
 

SWSPUPGRADE

Whether to upgrade future installations.  

0 = service packs should install fresh installations

1 = service packs should be applied as upgrades
 

TARGETDIR

Installation folder for SolidWorks.

Administrative installations only.
 

TOOLBOXFOLDER

Installation folder for SolidWorks Toolbox files.

Individual installations only.
 

UPGRADESWINSTALL

Whether to upgrade an existing version of SolidWorks to the current version.

0 = new installation, do not update

1 = update

Individual installations only.
