By installing the "ANY" license
file, you agree to implement the traditional, dongle-based license file
upon receipt of an SNL dongle from SolidWorks Corporation. Compliance
with license restrictions is still required.The temporary "ANY" license creates an SNL file that can be used temporarily when a dongle is not available.
By installing the "ANY" license
file, you agree to implement the traditional, dongle-based license file
upon receipt of an SNL dongle from SolidWorks Corporation. Compliance
with license restrictions is still required.
To install an "ANY" license file:
Existing SNL users start at step 1; new users
start at step 3.
Uninstall the SNL Manager and delete the install folder.
Remove the dongle from your computer.
Follow the installation instructions under License Server Installation.
Click Cancel when you see the following message:
"Could not read the Globetrotter dongle
ID number.
Please make sure the dongle is firmly connected on this computer then press
Retry."
The Dongle ID "ANY" appears automatically.
Continue with the installation.
